Cranberries (L.Vaccinium oxycoccus) are definitely toxin beaters in the Cretan Diet. They contain phyto-nutrients which offer antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer health benefits. The deep red berries also pack a vitamin C punch, contain dietary fiber and manganese, as well as being a good source of vitamin E, and K, copper, and pantothenic acid. Imagine all these benefits on top of preventing urinary tract infections especially in men. But they can also get rid of toxins lurking around your system. Cranberries get rid of waste residue from the body and are anti-bacterial so they remove any toxins. Taken dried, fresh cooked or as juice, just go for Cranberries as a routine, a snack during the day, an additional topping on yoghurt or mix into a fruit salad. Just remember that they are antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer.
